Hello, I am tutoring history and language subjects. I have always had an interest for global issues, cultural aspects and languages. My passion for languages started when I was a child. Being multilingual is vital in today's society as more jobs require employees to be bilingual. More importantly, a language enhances sensitivity to customs and cultural differences. I was able to experience such cultural and economic differences while I studied in France and traveled to multiple countries on the continent like: Spain, Italy, Romania, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Greece. I specialize in tutoring subjects such as European History, International relations, International Negotiations, as I have a BA in International Studies with a regional focus in Europe. I also tutor languages, as I have a BA in French and a Minor in Spanish. I can teach French-Spanish elementary-intermediate levels, as well as French-Spanish advanced grammar, French culture, literature and translation and interpretation, Spanish Composition and Spanish Idioms and proverbs. Moreover, I obtained a Professional French certificate after the completion of 4 months study abroad at the International College in Cannes, France. This allows me to tutor in subjects such as French Business, French Tourism and Professional French. I like to use different learning methods such as flash cards, videos, dictation, composition and apps in order to keep the student engaged during the session. One of my goals for the session is to challenge the student to become an independent user. I assign short homework, quizzes and unit exams as needed. Tutoring is a great opportunity to share my experience with others. I am confident that my academic background and international experience will benefit my tutees. I will take a great responsibility to deliver professional work and help tutees achieve their educational goals.
